LaKritz Adler acquired a long-vacant, environmentally-contaminated gas station site at Georgia Avenue’s most prominent intersection, the corner of Georgia and New Hampshire Avenues, directly across from the Petworth Metro Station. LaKritz Adler then negotiated environmental case closure with the regulatory authorities and signed a lease with CVS to bring the first pharmacy to the Petworth neighborhood in decades. The new CVS was completed in July 2010.
