PROJECTS: Watha T. Daniels House

Robb LaKritz and Josh Adler's Watha T. Daniels House Project

The Watha T. Daniels House is the former residence and business of early 20th-century D.C. civic leader, Watha T. Daniels (for whom the Shaw Public Library is also named). LaKritz Adler acquired the long-vacant structure out of a tax foreclosure and completely restored it, rebuilding the termite and water-damaged floor structures and the collapsed roof, while honoring its historic appearance and live-work character.
