The Watha T. Daniels House is the former residence and business address of the prominent early 20th-century D.C. city leader, Watha T. Daniels, located near the center of historic Shaw. In 2003, LaKritz | Adler acquired the long-vacant, partially-collapsed shell, and, completely restored the building, honoring its historic live-work character, rebuilding the termite and water damaged floor structure, partially collapsed roof and partially collapsed rear masonry. LAD restored and expanded the residential second floor, and restored the commercial ground floor, which is now leased to a locally-owned insurance business.
